Elf Fantasy Fair Arcen 2012

It's something like a rennaissance fair but more into the fantasytheme as it is, with elfs, orcs, steampunk, many more...

I've been seriously dreamy and on edge about a week before hand, making plans and such...and then...the day was there!!!

We started off seriously giggling at the parking lot, making pictures of ourselfs in our cape thusfar, with only a safetypin. We looked our eyes out and then rushed to the shop with capeholders. We bought ourselfs a lovely one, me in goldish, my best friend in silver (worked best with the stuffing of our capes, I had olivegreenish, she had oceanblueish) After that we sought ourself a lovely place in the grass to..sow the copeholders on, because, seriously, those safetypins where not something we wanted to  walk around in all day...Stroppy little things to prick your fingers on...
Then our search for the dress, or at least especially my search for the perfect dress began. Steampunk is great!! But if you see too much steampunk and not so many other shops,it's rather...sad...Especially if you are not the kind for steampunk or the kind "pretty to look at but not for me to  wear" like me. I wanted to become the viking/highlander kind of girl. You know, with rugs and stuff too in the future...maybe...
We ate the most delicious meat skewers, so we really "HAD" to take two of them XD We took a lot of pictures, as well of other costumes as of ourselfs, even though we were only wearing a cape at that time (the rest will come)

And then..when it was about eight o' clock or something, I started to give up the search of a dress on the EFF and started thinking of buying it on the web either way...But then there it was. I was thinking "Did we see this stand before? Like...Really really really see it? ANd I was like "Well, maybe the dress with the white doesn't disturb me  that much anymore either, but then I saw a beautiful black with bordeaux brownish tinted dress with straps at the side and I totally fell in love... About one hour before we left XD But I DID find my dress, didn't I XD And then we had to buy elven ears to go with it. And some mead and drinking horn on the way out...

The next day(today) I was allready completely wired, like...seriously
And I was in fear...Are we sure this all wasn't too much of just a good dream? Is the dress I wore, really there, did I really bought it?? So yeah, EFF was great, so great that It could as well be a way too good dream. And I'm still in seventh' heaven...
